Scouts say Manuel Loerya is a former Legend who roamed the pitch a long time ago.
This seems to be true after his 1st game.

Manuel kept low profile during the 1st drive.
He did a good job helping veteran players bash the elves down their half of the pitch, but thing started to go downhill right after our superstar reached the endzone.

Fans got carried by feelings and a riot bursted out, so the elves got their chance to score back while Manuel efforts to avoid the TD were useless, probably due to his new unconfortable body (or what once used to be a body)

Many players don't have the mental fortitude to come back in the game after something like that, but Manuel showed himself unfazed by what happened (literally: he is a zombie, he has no emotions)

Manuel scored the game winning TD after a game changing interception tagged by opponent blitzer and in the rain. To top that he even badly hurted an opponent player fool enogh to try to stop him while running toward the endzone. (with his only block of the game)

But that's not all, opponent team tried a last ditch effort to save the day and tie the game, but this time Manuel did not get caught by surprise by their speed.
With a better knowledge of his own new body, Manuel used it to made opponent catcher stumble and fall to the ground right before the endzone. (further investigation after the game revealed that he litterally threw something that was "feeling off" from his body to the elf's feets)

Interviewers found him quite emotionless after the game, but he declared that now that he is more confortable with his own body he will focus his effort on improving his mind and strategies (even if an unverified source tells that he actually said:"BRAINZ!!!!")
