After the losses suffered by the team in that horrid game against Eye and Arrow Lich-Coach Drache seached far and wide for suitable replacements. At one point he visited the Red Abbey, the cursed monastery in Sylvania where the restless ghosts of murdered Sigmarite monks walk the halls. There Drache struck a deal with one of the monks, promising him a chance for revenge against the vampires that murdered him and his fellow monks all those years ago, if he agreed to play for the Haunters.
