Eyabi Okie from Randallstown High School was rated a 5-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 5-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Okie joined Alabama after being heavily recruited.

In 2018 as a freshman Okie saw action in 11 games and played a total of 90 snaps for the Crimson Tide. He recorded only 6 tackles, 2 assists, while adding 4 stops. As a pass rusher, he added 4 total pressures, which included 3 QB hurries, one QB hit, and no sacks on the season.

After season's end Okie transferred to UT Martin where as a sophomore for the Skyhawks in 2021 Okie played 12 games and took part in 308 snaps for the Skyhawks. He recorded 18 tackles, 6 assists, while adding 16 stops. As a pass rusher, he chalked up 15 total pressures, and 6 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and a decent 7 sacks during the year.

After season's end Okie transferred to Michigan where as a junior for the Wolverines in 2022 Okie played in 13 games and played 281 snaps for the Wolverines. He recorded only 7 tackles, 7 assists while making 11 stops. As a pass rusher, he produced 23 total pressures, which included 16 QB hurries, 3 QB hits, and a decent 4 sacks on the year.
