Cade Stover from Lexington High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Stover opted to join Ohio State.
In 2020 as a freshman Stover saw action in just 3 games for the Buckeyes as he made 5 receptions for just 76 yards for an average of 15.2 yards per reception, with no TDs, and just QB rating when targeted of 54.2. As a blocker he allowed no pressures and no sacks.
