After rigging the last game for his previous team the Grondheim Gladiators, Graznarg was suddenly ejected from the league, his team retired and shamed. Travelling the northern wastes he stumbled across the Citadel of Karaz-Doun. There he worked his way through the minor leagues, with his companion Grimnir, to become captain of the Citadel's major team - The Karaz-Doun Gladiators.
