Unknown to the family of 'Sta, Sir Laut A'Saar undermined the coup from within
because he was and is loyal only to the Witch-King Ludwig von Bane. Acting as
von Bane's spy he follows the family and reports it's movements to his King via a
magic amulet in case the 'Stas try to come back in Hellsink.

Sir Laut A'Saar's body was taken from the coroner's office by Sir Salm I'Saar to
hide the fact that he was a spy for the Witch-King.
