At the age of 6 months Barry had held and caused his first casualty with his blunderbuss. To the horror of his green skinned parents it was Barry's leg that took the full brunt of the impact. After hopping around for the next few years of his life he had manages to rummage together enough spare parts to build himself his much deserved new leg.

With a shopping trolly, a few old cans of beans and a length of intestine he had managed to pull from the pet dog, he managed to fashion his leg. Barry is by no means a technological genious, but he became a great seaworthy fellow as his leg enabled him to scoop water out of the hull quite efficiently.
