Peter was the first of two team members that aren't actually a druchii. Rather, Peter is an extremely nimble street thief with cheekbones that make David Bowie envious. Peter has been hiding out from the law ever since he accidently killed a streetwalker due to a misunderstanding when she asked him to 'show me yer tackle.' However Peter discovered he had a knack for football and decided to join up with a team. The only team hiring was The Tender Humans, who were a man down after a string of freak ritual torture accidents. Hakk'on who knew Peter was a human intended to use him as a mascot, showing the crowds before kick-off exactly how tender humans could be, he was thinking something a-la carte. Peter who knew Hakk'on and The Tender Humans were just masquerading druchii, (as did everyone else bar that one red faced envoy) thought it would be the perfect place to hide out.

I mean what human would look for a human in a druchii team that were pretending to be human in order to hide from druchii?
