He often teaches the monsters (Herry, Cookie and Grover) the meaning of certain things, but usually he is seen as the reporter of 'Sesame Street News', wearing his jacket and hat. Sometimes he just stands somewhere on the street, asking people things, in other skits he reports fairy tales. Also is Kermit the victim of Grover the salesman. Grover tries to persue Kermit to buy things Kermit doesn't want and need, such as a toothbrush, while Kermit has no teeth.</DIV>
