This service for the team rewarded him a spot on the roster when coach Oblitzamanger was looking for a Blitzer. Although he was a good thrower, he was an even better blitzer in the coach's opinion, and he was rostered after the team's third game. He did well in his opening match as he made a completion after the game was decided and earned the MVP, allowing him to learn how to strip the ball of other rushers.
