Neddly was the first Dumpling to retire in relative good health. After five games, he had a "bad hip" that might cause him to "miss some games." It was decided that the team needed 16 healthy players in order to have a chance of finishing games with a full squad, so Neddly was sidelined. He took a spot on the team's coaching staff.
