Garlfekt: 'The SoulTaker' first of the Knights of Urnfekt (Human) (Von Carstien Lord). Was a lord of high standing in Altdorf until he was found to be practicing magic, and rather than the Wizards causing a scene they allowed him to leave the empire with his reputation intact. The reason for this was that the whole thing was a set up and was planned by some unknown force or person. So he went to the land of the Bretonnia and started to make a name for himself as a hero of the people. After a few years he was sent to dispatch of a vampire that had been seen in the mountains and had been coming down to take children away and kill. When he got to the mountains he was guided to a place that was said to be the vampires lair by an elf. Urnfekt, who still looked like an elf, may have tricked him or maybe he had wanted to learn from the vampire, so that he could take revenge on those who drove him out of the Empire. Either way he became the First of the Knights of Urnfekt and is a warrior that wishes to destroy the empire, and all that serve the Emperor, but is willing to wait until he has the order to do so by his master Urnfekt. His favoured weapon is his old family sword. It is a sword that is half inside the realm of magic and phases between to two of them. This means armour is of no use against the weapon, but the draw back is he can't use it to parry blows. (in game would mean he wouldn't get the bonus save for hand weapon and shield if on foot)
