Aniar Moonspawn
Aniar is one of those players who are the reason that Elves, and especially dark elves are feared and hated all around Blood Bowl. He's a lineman by position, but blitzer, witch elf and assasin by heart. He carries and passes the ball, he blocks and blitzes. He dodges and tackles. Whatever is going on in the field Aniar is in the middle of it.
Few of Aniars golden moments are touchdown pass catched in the last seconds of game against human team Mad Caps giving the victory to corsairs, and this was after he had thrown the first TD on that match in the first half.
However his most memorable effort was in a match against dwarf team Nanos Toledanos where he, in last turn of the first half dodged between five dwarves (six dodge moves) made a heroic effort of sprinting the last few feet and blitzed a dwarf runner who was assisted by two troll slayers. The runner fell victim of thunderous blow and was removed from the game giving Aniar his sixth casualty, and second dwarf. That blitz saved a certain TD and on the second half Corsairs scored the winning goal and defended rest of the period Aniar in the first line to secure the win.
Aniar has a habit of drawing an icon to his helmet for every different race he has showed the bench in his own painful way. As of Now his helmet has a picture of High and Dark Elf, mummy, ghoul, skaven and of course, a dwarf. But with his own words "has room for every single race that plays blood bowl, including those sappy nurgle beasts and treemen."

"Aniar is a big time player. He loves to make that important play. He's always where the action is. No matter whether it is an offensive scheme and he slips behind defenders to catch a TD or a trench fight against chaos warriors, he's there doing his job. And for some Nuffle given gift, he always makes those impossible deeds. Im sure that we will see plenty more from him, and I expect to see his helmet to get few more decorations"

Aniar was killed while going for a heroic last turn touchdown in an ugly match where three Corsairs were killed in the hands of Chaos Dwarves. May he rest in peace, and his helmet stand as an ovation to the skill and courage of the Dark Elf linemen everywhere.
