The first time the Effingham police nabbed Trokey with methamphetamine, he was a twenty year old kid with no priors, selling 1/16 ounce papers. Given all the mitigating factors, the judge decided to be lenient and give Trokey the minimum four year sentence. Four and a half years later, the Effingham police caught Trokey with meth again. But instead of selling small quantities on the street, he was making bathtubfuls of it in his basement. Leniency was no longer an option, and Trokey was sentenced to forty years behind bars.

Trokey is known to be affiliated with the Alliance for Purity gang. He is graded D and is not approved for work on prison industries. Trokey is currently being held in the SHU for his involvement in the murder of Correctional Officer, Bob Hudson.
