Many amongst the Northern Tribe feel that it is a waste of talent for a poet as skilled as Jub to risk his life playing Blood Bowl. The pirate patch covering his gouged eye makes a good compliment for his "'orror stories".
One of his favourite poems is:
"Elf spleenz 'r red
n' norse eyez r blue,
gimme da grub
or I will 'urt you".
Sadly Jub is starting to get worn down from his many injuries, and many suspects that the warrior poet's days on the pitch are nearing the end.

Jub was forced to retire when his niggling injuries kept him from playing, and he left the squad together with the star player Lurk da Sneaky. He will be missed by both the team and the fans, especially for his beautiful but brutal poetry and chants, but also for his skills as a kicker.
