Mei Shengs name translates to "Standing Giant". He broke his back in the Fighting Pandas first game and as a result does not stand quite as tall as he used to. This first generation linesman only played five games for the Pandas but those were as bloody and intense as anything and Mei Shengs body broke up under the wear and tear.

In his final game for the Pandas the Standing Giant, already crippled and in constant pain, gave everything he had left to score the last second touchdown for the 2-1 victory, making sure his fellow players and the fans kept him in good memory. It was his first and last touchdown as he got the sent-off he deserved. Mei Sheng retired after the game and is now serving the team in a coaching position.
