Gurg is a member of the original team.

In his second game, Gurg caught a pass. But what was even more spectacular about it was that it was from the other team! He eanred the team's first interception.

In his third game, he damaged the back of a Zombie which didn't regenerate. Unfortunately though, he himself went down with a pinched nerve in his side. He would have to miss the next game, and that pinched nerve would sometimes prevent him from playing.

After sitting on the bench during the team's next game, he and Coach Oblitzamanger talked. Oblitzamanger wanted a fresh Blocker on the team, and Gurg realized that staying on would only hurt the team. Thus, Gurg retired after the game with honors and a full pension. Proving he was trustworthy, he was set free by Klicket.
