Othos Woyzek was once the mayor of Isabella's home town. He was self important, self congratulatory and boorish, as far as Isabella was concerned, but boy did he ever give a good speech. In a fit of perverse generosity, Isabella cast a curse of tongues upon the remnants of the civil servant, and he now orates to the team before they hit the field. His voice, still sonorous despite the rotting of his lungs and vocal chords, lends a remarkable confidence to the players. Something almost like a glimmer of memory can be seen in the putrid eye-sockets of dead townsfolk as they listen. It warms Isabella's heart.
