Duryne hails from the Northern Chaos Wastes and once was a member of the Tong tribe. For years, the Tong rampaged through the territories of the other Kurgan tribes, slaughtering everybody they met in the name of Khorne, the Blood God and Lord of Skulls.
Unfortunately for Duryne, she found that massacring people day in, day out was not satisfactory. She craved for new pleasures and experiences, but to no avail: the Tong continued their constant butchering.
After a few years, Duryne made a grave decision: she abandoned her people and devoted herself to Slaanesh. The Dark Prince protected her from the wrath of Khorne, which enraged Khorne even further (which was exactly what Slaanesh intended), and invited her to join his personal Horde...
