Back in the early days of Eddi's Blood Bowl career, the blitzer played in the minor leagues and was an up and coming star in the Sulfur Pits Pennant COmpetition of Blackspire. The biggest game of the season was approaching and Eddi had a bad training session where he dropped quite a few balls. In desperation he went to see a magician for some assistance who sold him some powder that he need only spit on and it would turn to super sticky solvent. The wizard assured him that this would ensure he would hold onto anything (and advised not...er... relieving himself after applying the powder!!).
Thinking this would be great on his feet as well, Eddi applied the powder and went into the game confident and eager. Meanwhile the sneaky magician put a massive wager on the opposition as he had pulled a swifty on poor Eddi and had sold him a potion that would turn into grease, not solvent! Needless to say he slipped all over the park and couldn’t catch the ball to save his life!!!

The incident led to him being kicked out of the minors but luckily One Eye saw the potential in Eddi and snapped him up. Now he is a well known face around the game and big things are expected of the lad... (Or else da ugli bugga willz be turn'd ina solvernt byz me!! - One Eye).
