Stefano Pelloni was a bandit called "il Passatore" ( o "il Passator cortese", how was called by the italian poet Giovanni Pascoli) because he was sort of a ferryman before being an outlaw.
He's one of the moust famous italian bandit, and lived in romagna in the XIX century.
It's said that the people loved him (especially the ladies) and there are several novels and ballads on him.
