Peter "Pinball" Deveraux was an actor, and had just landed a major role in "Blood Bowl: The Movie." On the fifth day of shooting, he suffered a serious concussion. When he woke up, he thought he WAS a Blood Bowl star, and immediately signed with the first team he saw.

The first team was the Canton Fodder, and by the time Deveraux came to his senses, he was trapped in a mutli-year, unbreakable contract.

Update: In a situation so appropriate that we can't believe it hadn't happened before, Deveraux was killed in his first game, against the Bultimore Skavens. "Blood Bowl: The Movie" is now on hiatus until a replacement can be found.
