This is a failed eapons experiment. A crazy weaponsmith got the idea (on his wife´s washingday...) to use a combination of sticks and cushions in combat. First you throw the cushion over the enemy, then you beat him with a pair of sticks. Unnecessary to mention that the cushions cushioned the force of the blows...
But some warriors were able to beat the enemies in fascinating rythms, unfortunately it was too hard to survive to such a degree of skill for most people...
