Phi-bi was born to a rich upper-middle class family in East London. He was pampered for much of his early life, but as he started school, he was targetted by some of the bigger pandas for having such a sissy name. In an effort to become cooler and make more friends, Phi-bi soon started to rebel against his upbringing, creating havoc and pandamonium wherever he set paw. This came to a climax in the mid-90's, when he was finally expelled from the boarding school where he had spent the last 5 years burning books in the library, wrestling other pupils, stealing bamboo form the kitchen, and even pandalising the school's desks.
After leaving school, Phi-bi was exiled by his family, having to scavange his food daily, sometimes resorting to performing at circus's where his passion for pandamonium attracted large crowds. Whilst performing one night, Phi-bi was spotted by a talent scout who was looking to complete his bloodbowl team by recruiting some muscle power so as not to be out done by the larger and bashier races.
