When throwers have their hands full, catchers take the load. In a game against dark elf team Need you, Havildar Kesri, the only thrower on the roster at that time was lost to a casualty box for the rest of the game. Tommy Miller and now retired John Wayne both made spectacular throws, Miller actually for a touchdown, first picking up the ball next to an opponent and dodging away to get a clear throw. Excellent, even magnificent performance duly deserved to be rewarded with promotion into Staff Sergeant.
Tommy Miller, being promoted to a team assistant captain, also got his promotion to 2nd Lieteunant, trying his wings as a true leader on the field. Now he carries a lot more responsibility and a lot more weight on his shoulders, and we shall see how this young man does.
2nd Lieteunant Miller did extraordinary well against a lizard team Theropods, when they won the match 1-0 First he dodged a lightning bolt that the sneaky lizards hired hand wizard threw at him, and then later grabbed the ball from a fallen skink, then sustaining a multitude of blocks from big saurus hanging on to the ball, and Commandos victory. His heroic efforts throughout the match were rewarded with a promotion to full Lieteunant
After the retirement of Uboot the ogre, and the death of Peter Stamovich, Tommy Miller is now the sole of the captain trio that led Commandos rise into a great team. Now as the most experienced player, at 46 games on his track record, now promoted captain Miller is also the new team Captain.
For enduring 50 games in the fields of BloodBowl, Tommy Miller, the team captain and the current holder of Commandos TD-record is being promoted to the rank of Major.
Tommy Miller played for the Commandos for the 74 games and the duration of both 2007 Fumbbl Cup and 2008 Warpstone Open, but his back just didn't let him participate on the level he wished. After the WO, he made his decision and was honourably retired from the team, and now works on the coaching staff, assisting the new offensive unit of BC Commando.
