Showing promise in training, Dozzer accrued early skills and as the "Wall's" only thrower looked set for heady heights.
At first however, those heights appeared too daunting as skills learnt in training failed to transfer to the field. Nervous and troubled, Dozzer fumbled almost every ball he attempted to retrieve. This game-costing series of errors earned him the nickname "Albatross" from the fans, some of whom offered the threat "Either Dozzer goes or the coach does..."
His reputation has been restored and the death-threats lifted however after a dramatic last minute pass completion against the Loonatiks clinched the "Wall's" first victory.
