On a 3-2 win against a vampire team Bite the Dust, Pepe Lopez, despite a slow start when he dropped two important catches, showed great fighting spirit rising up and going on a scoring rampage. He scored both the first and second td's of Commandos, and earned his promotion to lance corporal.

Commandos played a game against a Lustrian qualifier winning team Pizoteadorez, a powerful ork team. Somehow on their own offense the Commandos managed to push it towards the endzone pace after pace. Then on the end of the half near the opponent TD-zone, the unthinkable happened. Orks stripped the ball and the td was almost lost. Gary Beddows, and fellow lineman Pepe Lopez first pushed off a ork blitzer, and then Beddows blitzed an ork thrower out of the way to snatch the ball inside the TD-zone next to a black ork. This was the Commandos sole touchdown in the game and gave them a great win against a much more powerful team. It wouldn't have happened without Lopez's fabulous effort against strong ork blitzer. Both men were rewarded with promotions.
