This is Gran' ma Ben or Rose as she was known in her younger days. She was the princess but hands it over to Thorn. Gran'ma Ben has the strength of ten elephants and runs faster that any cow in the valley. Every year during the Spring Fair, Gran'ma Ben races against the swiftest cows the valley has to offer. This "Great Cow Race" is considered the Spring Fair's main event. People from miles around come out to watch, cheer and wager on the race.
