Benny Harrison is the current team captain of the Amazing Mediocres. After the failure of Buttertop Sr. as the team thrower, Benny took it upon himself to learn how to carry and throw the ball, as well as moving away from defenders with great speed. Inspired by some skaven gutter runners during a pickup game, Benny trained hard and long to be as quick and nimble as the best runners. The head coach awarded Benny with the team captain title and the main ball carrier.

Benny had a rough game. After making a beautiful hit on a wight, dodging through players left and right, Benny tripped dodging out and broke his arm. Unfortunately, the apothecary was already busy with another player who had been vaulted to the great beyond by a mummy, and the team lost the first round of a SMACK tournament.

Silently, Smasher Benny has become the star of the team. He gives few interviews and always hurries home after a game, locking himself away inside. In the Mediocres' 3-1 win, Benny completed a pass and scored a touchdown, further cementing his role as team captain.

A heartbreaking game for fans of the Mediocres everywhere as Smasher Benny, one of the few remaining original members, was trampled by a wild centaur. With the death, the team retired in mourning. The head coach was beside himself with grief, wondering how his team is going to score any points now.
