Dauntless
Another in a growing line of foreign players on the Mediocres' roster, Chel hails from the same land as Emef Tells. In his former life, Chel sold used art in a his home town of Orax. Finding the used art market a little dry, Chel decided to try out for the Mediocres' squad after learning of Smasher Benny's untimely demise at the hands of a chaos dwarf team. He made the team and hopes to make enough money to pay back all his investors.

[[Game 34]]
Taking a page out of Ex Machine's book, Chel began working on his stamina and speed, becoming one of the fastest players on the team.

[[Game 40]]
In the 40th game of the Mediocres' history, Chel took home the MVP. Though the team lost 2-0, Chel seemed upbeat about the team's chances in its next game.

[[Game 42]]
After an inspired 3-1 win against a tough dwarf team during the Mutation Day, Chel scores one of the three Mediocre touchdowns. Feeling the strength of the mutations, he has learned to block even the strongest opponents.

[[Game 46]]
Chel scored the only touchdown in a 4-1 loss to a dwarf team that proved luckier than any Irish. The team was not surprisingly outraged and held a news conference, where Chel announced that the Mediocres would no longer play any dwarf team, ever again.

[[Game 48]]
Sealing the victory with a last-minute touchdown, Chel now has four for his career. With a little bonus on the side, the blitzer paid off one investor of his failed business and wants to get busy paying off the second.

[[Game 56]]
There's been some chatter about Chel's lack of production lately, and whether he will get better at all. The head coach, though, is mum on the subject, not commenting when asked after a 2-2 draw against a dark elf team.

[[Game 57]]
Having been snubbed by some fans, Chel Rafete returned to the endzone in a 3-2 loss against an undead team. Later in the game, though, he was injured and will miss the next game. The fans continue to boo him, even though he's become as agile as a normal elf.

[[Game 65]]
One of the most promising careers in Mediocre history has come to an end today on the pitch. Chel Rafete, a fan favorite blitzer for the human team, was killed today when he was pushed into an unruly crowd of norse in a 2-1 victory. Unhappy about their team's performance, the norse fans took the liberty of showing Chel what they thought of the Mediocres. The team owner is now working on the legal issues with Chel's will as it sits in probate.
