The call went out from the Mediocres' head office, in search of someone that could turn the disappointing last few games around. The head coach has kept the team active and in training, but without a throwing game, and without a true, capable runner, the team is foundering. The most promising of the new recruits signed his name only as "The Rabbit". No one knows his background, or where he is from. Sources close to the team say he is no better than a regular lineman, but the enigma surrounding him leads many to speculation.

In his sixth game with the Mediocres, The Rabbit has finally scored a casualty during Mutation Day. Blessed with razor sharp claws, he was able to injure a skaven lineman in a 2-2 tie. Reporters looked for him after the game, but could not find him in the Mediocres' locker room.

<b>[[Game 48]]</b>
The Rabbit came to an unfortunate end in a 3-1 victory today, being blindsided by a rotter beastman. Unfortunately, since no one really knew who he was, no one attended his funeral except for the priest and the gravedigger. The head coach did recite a nice eulogy, commenting on how big a blood stain The Rabbit left on the field when he died.
