The second ogre signed to the Mediocres' roster, "Grandpa" Chuck Stamper is something of an oddity. While most ogres that play blood bowl are relatively young, Grandpa Chuck has already reached the ripe old age of fifty. His teammates have affectionately dubbed him "Grandpa" because of his age. When asked by reporters why the team signed such an old ogre, the head coach replied that no other ogre was willing to play for such a lackluster team.

Grandpa Chuck's first game with the Mediocres was a resounding failure. The old ogre apparently has some form of senility, as he spent half the game standing around and looking at the 80,000+ fans in the seats. Most were booing him. The head coach visited the pharmacy after the game to see if there were any Ogre Thinking drugs available.
