Originally born as Johan, El Cuchillo chose his "new" name when he left home at a young age to make his way as an entertainer. His specialty was juggling of knives, whirling bladed swords around his body in a flashy dance of death. The irony: he actually didn't know the first thing about how to fight, only to look like it. While this has saved his bacon on multiple occasions as foes back away from this "master of the blade", poor Johan has had to leave town in a hurry more than once after the local town bully challenged him to a fight and wouldn't be scared off by his act.
