Janky "Mad Dog" got his nickname because of the way he acted towards the hobgoblin slaves under his command in Mad-Galak city mines. Well, in fact, the truth is that it was a bull-centaur the one that gave it to him: it happens that Janky has the same kind of behaviour towards almost everybody, cause he is both strong and fearless (apart from feeling little respect for the rest of the people).

With these "conditions", it is odd that he did not create his own bloodbowl team, but he was probably too busy whipping his slaves (and, honestly, he got his thirst for blood fullfilled that way, too) for that. But when two of his slaves gave him the idea, he could not resist to the challenge (and did not want to, either).

Now he honors his nickname by barking at his team players, at the other teams' players and staff, at the public, ... What he probably does not know is that thats part of the fun for the public, too!!! And much better if he does not realice that, because up to know he has only beaten other players, but if ge gets aware that people likes his anger and shouts, then something bad can happen...

Anyway, we must be sympathetic, as trying to teach hobgoblins what they must do on a bloodbowl pitch cannot be easy at all, but discouraging. The only thing that avoids him from killing his own players is that then there would be far less players than needed to win matches. Although lately he is thinking about the fact that 6 chaos blockers, 2 bull centaurs and one troll could perfectly play bloodbowl against all that other puny and weak teams...
