Along with his friend (well, or what hobgoblins consider a friend) Walt, he had the idea of creating a bloodbowl team when he was able to see some scenes of a match in his master spellcaster glass ball. What he saw was fantastic to him: some ugly big guys hitting some even uglier big guys while some small ones ran unharmed near the sides of a green pitch... We cant be sure, but it could be true that what he saw was a match belonging to an orc tribal league with plenty of gobbos.

Anyway, he is working really hard in order to become useful for the team, and the threats the coach and trainers often use is not the less important reason.

Honestly, he is really frightened by Janky, the head coach, but they have played some training matches and he is much more frightened by the opponent player's faces, so he hopes his partners will help him keeping alive...
