It's good to evil. Poison, backstabbing, political upheval, funding rebels, are all good sources of entertainment. The challenge was the entire party was made up of these evil b-tards. It was hard getting a good night sleep in that party. My fav adventure with him was when the party went into a Grimtooth's labyrith with 10 slaves each. Convincing slaves to risk testing the effects of traps was challenging, as was convincing other evil party members to risk their own slaves. The DM made great use of the moral system for this one.
Balor's fav slaves were always young street urchants he would pay silver to, to hold torches or lanterns. "Kill the lantern boy will you!? Die slayer of small children!"
