Thomas was always around when Hans was younger, and in fact it was Thomas who taught Hans how to play the game of Blood Bowl, though with gentler rules. When Hans started a team, Thomas was reluctant to join, but the thought of leaving Hans unprotected on the pitch finally convinced him.
