Jarl saw his team mates going to the ground around him by dreadful blows of the Khemri mummies. Clenching his teeth he tried to do his best but finally got knocked out in the first half, too. But that turned out to be a twist of fate. He opened his eyes and, his vision still blurring and his ears ringing, he saw an old witch that spoke to him: "Jarl. I have chosen you to save this team from further humiliation! Take this charm and wear it in your jockstrap. It will weaken the mummies and bring new hope to you and your mates!" When he regained full consciousness the witch was gone but something itched between his legs. He didn't dare to have a look at it. But with new valor he stood up and stormed into the team's changing room: "COME ON GUYS! Let's show them stinkin' undead how to play Bloodbowl!"

And so the match continued. Well, Jarl didn't manage to save the win for his team but he saved the tie. The mummies were really weakend and only managed to push him around. They and the Khemri coach got so furious that they forgot to score but rather tried to knock him down, out and into the hospital. But all the blocks were pushes or had no effect.

The fans, the Khemri team and both coaches wrote petitions that the team should be renamed to honour Jarl. But Jarl, as humble as he is, states: "I'm not the only player in this team."
