From its earliest of days the /tg/ board has asked the question, "Can love bloom on the battlefield?" in relation to Warhammer 40K. An artist by the name of Miko answered the question with a joke-comic of a Vindicare Assassin falling in love with Eldar Farseer Taldeer (from Dawn of War), and the combination of positive responses and nerd-rage fuelled the creation of more images, until at long last someone decided to write a story about it all. This person was dubbed Bloomwriter, and the story went on for some time amidst the continued collective adulation and rage of the /tg/ board-lurkers.

It is rumoured that Inevitably the attention became too much for Bloomwriter, and fearing the storm of flames that would result if he posted it to /tg/, he posted it to a completely different image board community, and the ending drifted into legend with few actually having saved a copy of it when it was posted.

For a time Bloomwriter was content to drift into obscurity, posting anonymously if at all, until sometime recently picking up from the ending and continuing the tale. If it will in fact end is anyone's guess, but it can be assured that if it is the cycle will begin anew, and no one will ever see how it ends.

Other works by Bloomwriter include the Lampetie Tales, and several side-stories that link up with the Love Can Bloom meta-story.
