Gnolls are a love-hate subject upon /tg/, with certain member decrying it as furry whilst others say they are acceptable as they are merely fantasy monsters. It certainly doesn't help the matter that some like to point out that as hyena monsters female gnolls probably have man-bits.

Somewhere along the line from all this spawned a picture of a Gnoll Nurse named "Nurse Verity", and a user who began posting under that name whilst using a decidedly stereotyped German Doctor accent. A cult favourite of /tg/, Verity has appeared crossing genres and has even been depicted getting beaten up by a Warhammer 40K Ogryn named "Ogryn-chan".
