Before /tg/ was born, stories were written and posted to the random section of the image board community, about a Warhammer 40K character named Khârn the Betrayer, professing that he was a 'heck of a guy'. When /tg/ came into being these stories were copied over, then new ones were made and are still being made to this day, and spawned several memes such as "I'm the new commissar".
Though none of these stories are written with a name attached, someone named Khârn-writer will announce himself occasionally to discuss things on /tg/. He has claimed that he does not put his name to any of his stories because that way they stand on their own merits as opposed to garnering hatred from people who simply dislike him. According to his own claims this has resulted in a myriad of his works and ideas being saved and reposted by others, though how many there are he has not said.
