At the imageboard community that needs no introduction, there are few things more able to inspire frothing anger in every single board than the concept of the anthromorphic animal 'lifestyle' known as being "Furry". Coming in all shapes and sizes, not to mention a variety of intermingling fetishes, it is hard to actually define what is and what isn't actually furry, to the point that not even any furries know. Regardless of this, its sheer diversity means that for those prone to rage, there is always something that will rub them the wrong way in regards to furries, and as such it is and will always be a prime tool of the troll.

On /tg/, the unclear definition of what is and what isn't furry is compounded by the fact that most tabletop and roleplaying games have anthromorphic animals in it. From the Warhammer Skaven to the myriad of creatures in D&D all it takes is for someone to call it furry before huge arguments break out and utterly derail any hope of discussion for all time.

So for being a prime tool to inspire internet rage, 'furry' is the sixth ogre to join the team.
