Sakura has a crush on Sasuke, but she may well have some competition. She's often self-conscious about her forehead, despite the fact that, if you compare it to the foreheads of some of the other characters, it's not that big at all. In fact, a heck of a lot of the male characters have a crush on her (for example Naruto (who she hates) and Rock Lee (who she's starting to respect)). At the start of the manga, all she seems to care about is love. However, during the Chuunin exam, her personality changes suddenly - she realizes that in her infatuation with Sasuke, she has neglected her duties as a team member - this coincides with her chopping off most of her hair (which she grew long because Sasuke apparently likes long hair). Then, she kicks sound-nin butt using her intelligence which is her main strength.
