Riffer "Card" Jaxon, member of the large Jaxon merchant family and prominent pokiir gambler, decided that it was time to take his luck at cards and try it in the Blood Bowl arena. Plus, a life of gambling and accounting leaves one with a rather soft body, so Blood Bowl would be the perfect thing to toughen him up to be a lean, mean, eating/drinking/smoking/gambling machine.

Riffer didn't get much time to achieve his goal of becoming that lean, mean machine. He played in the <A href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=220653" target="_blank">first game</A> of Spork Attack's against <A href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=50288" target="_blank">Grotz' Gitz</A> orc team, which ended up being his last. After running in the only touch down for the halflings that game, putting them up 1-0 over the Gitz, he was later mauled by some very angry greenskins. All that was left of him was some bloody pulp and an ace that had been, apparently, up his sleeve.
