Boscogne is the ultra-powerful commanding officer of Chuda's most powerful force, the Purple Rhinos. He is politically bound to take orders from Lord Gennon, who is a poor tactician and more concerned with his lust for young boys and Griffith than with actually winning the war. Against Gatsu, Boscogne proved his fighting ability as he faced off against the "100 Man Slayer" without faltering, matching Gatsu blow for blow, and actually cracks Gatsu's sword in half.
