I have strong ethics and morals, and the greed of humanity is depressing.
More than just a desire for more, it is the willingness for people to "just do it for the money" that really gets me down.
In Britain I feel that the small amount of land that is avaialable massively inflates the cost of everything as businesses and home-builders pay a premium for the land upon which they trade their goods.
Despite the fact stated above we still try and emulate capitalist systems from countries with a vastly less dense populations than ours. This proves to be an unfair disadvanatge due to the price of land due to market forces. If the governement regulatd land prices, the cost of housing would be stablalised, the overheads of businesses would be stablalised, and would see the potential of greater homeownership, new business start ups, and encourage people to spend their money within the stable business environment.
Whilst I know this would be a vastly unpopular decision in the short term, sometimes people do not know what is best for them. Sadly the party political system does not encourage any party to think long-term, but purely about getting re-elected.
