The extremely, some say too much for his own good, charismatic and silver-tongued team Davyd Darkstar is the team captain.
After serving 350 years in the Black Guard, Darkstar was released and given a tower near Clar Karond to command. He instead joined the Clar Karond Darkstars at the behest of his mother.An abandoned team, Darkstar used his charms, body and occasionally violence to 'persuade' would-be opposors it would be best to reform the Darkstars. Now he plays BloodBowl for sport and fun, not for the money. Still, he demands his share of the pay, which is, frankly put, alot. On the other side, his extremely tantalizing demeanOr paired with the unbelievable self-esteem of a Black Guard makes him a natural leader for the Dark elf team and a magnetic focal point.
His trademark being his helmet he never takes off, adorned with the symbols of the Black Guard of Naggaroth, Darkstar is rumoured to be extremely handsome underneath - a fact that has neither been confirmed nor denied.

Having recently suffered an injury, Darkstar might be planning to retire to rehab and undergo surgery, which would put him out of the game for a time and involve a long healing process.
<b>NEWSFLASH!</b>
The Darkstars announced to day that their team captain would undergo magical healing due to injuries suffered on the pitch and would be entering rehab soon after. They were quick to ensure reporters however he would be back very quick. Casper Seyle will lead the team in his absence.

The Darkstar Team Management is pleased to announce that Davyd Darkstar has returned to the team, but will need some time to find back to his old strength and further would not retain captaincy of the team - that would reside with Casper Seyle. An infuriated Davyd Darkstar was unable to comment on this, but his personal assistant, Sinrielle Sharptongue assured the press: <i> It is only a matter of time before Davyd will resume his rightful position."</i>

The Altdorf Medical Center has, on enquiry, admitted that Dr. Goodstuff is thinking about leaving the Hospital for the charismatic Darkstar to become his personal apothecary.
