While visiting the Bronx Zoo before the game, Tartakower claimed he "talked" with an orangutan named Susan, who recommended the Polish grandmaster open his game with 1. b4.
The game was drawn, but the name lives on in history.
A monograph on this opening was written by Alexei Sokolsky in 1963.
