Andre Irvin an 18 year old 5'11 185 lb catcher out of Storkheim scored the first two Touchdowns in Cardinals history, both in their very first game, a 2-0 victory over the Suckers for Pun-ishment.
Unfortunately they were to be his last. Late in the second half of that same ball game his jugular was ripped out while trying to escape a Vampire Thrall ......
Nevertheless those two scores secured the victory and along with his early and tragic death they have forever established his place in team lore.
The A.I patch every Cardinal wears on the left sleeve of his uniform is in his honor.
As the teams first scorer as well as its first player to fall in the line of duty he will never be forgotten
