While many of Deathdart's fans believe that he obtained his name from his extreme speed and nasty temper, the truth is far less mundane. In the first year of his Blood Bowl career, a drunken argument in the Black Sheep pub in Altdorf led to him hurling several darts at the skaven protaganist, which he pulled from the pub dartboard. The loud-mouthed rat, who had insulted Deathdart's parentage, was pierced through both eyeballs.
This has earnt him other nicknames, such as 'Bullseye', 'Brainstab' and the short-lived 'Dennis Preistley'.
